​Anna Caplan is a vocal artist based in Southern California. She has a special interest in both early and new music, hoping to bring attention to lesser-known pieces and works by underrepresented composers. She currently sings with several choral ensembles in Southern California and across the country including the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Choral Arts Initiative, Conspirare, Long Beach Camerata Singers, The Catalyst Ensemble, Bach Collegium San Diego, Colorado Bach Ensemble, Tonality, Pacific Chorale, and Laude at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. Anna performs as a soloist in a variety of genres including early music, opera, art song, musical theater, and pop. She appears in opera productions with East Village Caravanserai and Lyric Opera of Orange County. Anna graduated from the University of Redlands with her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance and master’s degree in Vocal Chamber Music.
 
Anna has experience in website design, serving as Webmaster for the American Choral Director’s Association Western Region, Oboemotions.com, and the Resonance Collective. She also has served as Video Editor for the University of Redlands School of Music, Inland Master Chorale, Phoenix Chamber Choir, IES Vienna Study Abroad Program, and Inland Dance Theater.
